I’m so excited to finally share my 2027 Calendar - Surrounded by Beauty!

This year’s calendar celebrates the incredible North East, with beautiful landscapes, amazing wildlife and some of the region’s hidden gems. From stunning scenery to special wildlife encounters, each photograph captures just some of the beauty that can be found right on our doorstep.

Did you know Blencathra is also known as Saddleback, It is one of the most northerly hills in the English Lake District. It has six separate fell tops, of which the highest is the Hallsfell Top at 2,848 feet. So it's not for the faint-hearted.

With the weather starting to cool down this week, is it too soon to start thinking about autumn?

I’ve always loved this photograph I took during an autumn walk along the River Tyne in Hexham. There’s something about this stretch of the river, with the trees lining the path and the autumn leaves covering the ground, that makes it such a beautiful place to walk.

I’m looking forward to heading along to the Charlie & Carter Foundation Summer Fayre this Sunday!

I’m honoured to be supporting such a fantastic charity and will have a stall at the fayre, with a selection of my photography products available to buy.

I’ll have prints, greeting cards, coasters, mugs, and more featuring my photographs of the beautiful landscapes and wildlife of the North East.

The fayre is taking place at the Wolf Competitions Stadium, South Shields FC, from 12.30pm–4.30pm.

Entry is FREE, with donations welcome to support the Charlie & Carter Foundation.

There will be lots of fantastic stalls, entertainment, crafts, face painting and more, so pop along, say hello and enjoy a great afternoon while supporting a brilliant local charity.
