A really common dilemma I hear from couples is wanting to make sure they get photos with lots of different groups of friends, but not wanting to stand around for ages after the ceremony with a long list of photos...

With the lovely K&A, we kept group shots after the ceremony to key family pics. Then mid-way through their cosy pub reception, we took a wander to the nearby park and got some bonus group pics with their friends. It was a really great way of making sure no-one was standing around for too long, and the sunny stroll to the park was a gorgeous interlude!

Whatever your preferences, when it comes to group pictures - you call the shots! Some couples have none. I advise that eight-ten is ideally the maximum after a ceremony - any more and people will get itchy feet and you'll start to wonder why you didn't prioritise hanging out with your guests and eating the snacks on offer ;)

But if you want to make sure you get all the combos of your other mates - an impromptu session later in the day like K&A is always a fun option :) For more on helping group photos go smoothly, you can check out the blog (link in bio)

And just like that...I fall in love with a winter wedding ✨

V&S created their beautiful celebration at Ravenswood in December so that they and their guests could squeeze every drop of fun and joy from the day. 

The cosy setting, the beautiful grounds, the fabulous cake, the twinkling festive lights....and the singing. Ohhh the singing!!

Plus Ravenswood is full of hidden corners that create a gorgeous atmosphere for different moments...I mean who doesn't love nighttime sparklers under the trees?! 

Thank you V&S for such an incredible day - absolutely packed full but still brought such a chilled vibe ✨

I love a walk.  In life, but also at weddings.  

If you're not sure how photos of just the two of you will feel, let's build them into your wedding day in a way that flows and feels natural.  Walking together is the perfect way to do that.  

After their ceremony the wonderful A&A strolled through Hereford with their guests to have a relaxed meal.  After a little while we peeled off from the group, and had a wander through the cathedral park, and some side streets.  Perfect for a moment of calm, togetherness, and some gorgeous, natural photos (swipe to see!) before rejoining everyone else for food.

Thank you A&A for being so kind, warm and welcoming - you really created the most special celebrations to be a part of 🤍💚

There was hardly a dry eye in the house (mine certainly wasn't!) for B&L's beautiful ceremony in Mumbles. Their vows to each other were just so heartfelt and loving (with a healthy dose of funny!) - the kind of moment that's a complete privilege to witness.

This day was full of joy, hugs, the most amazing wedding party and the highest quality lip-syncing to Hamilton tracks that I've ever seen. And B&L at the centre of it all, two beautiful souls who are clearly made for each other - I can't wait to share more from this day 🤍

What happens with your photos after the wedding? 

If you're wondering how soon you get your wedding photos and in what format, read on...

Within a couple of days of the wedding, I'll send you some previews. This is generally around 20 digital photos (sometimes more, I can get a bit excited) of some of the highlights from your day. Great to look through and share whilst you're still on that getting-hitched-high! 

I then edit your full set of wedding photos. This can take up to eight weeks but I'll always try to do it sooner if I can.  The number of photos in your full gallery varies depending on the type of day, number of guests etc - but is often around 600-800 for a full day.

You have access to your previews and then your full set of photos in a password protected online gallery for at least 6 months. You can download as many as you want, and so can any of your guests if you choose to share the gallery (or part of it) with them. No watermarks, no hidden charges.

I am also always delighted to quote for a printed album or to arrange prints for your home. I don't include this in my packages as I've found couples often prefer to choose any printed extras at the end. I work with the incredible to bring you high quality albums with sustainably sourced materials that look genuinely awesome, and will last a lifetime 💚

I work with lots of couples who love to be in nature, who want photos that reflect the beauty and the feel of where they're getting married. I absolutely love taking photos that combine the closeness of your relationship with the wildness of the scenery.

These pictures are from a workshop on the coast of northern ireland - somewhere that even on a grey and drizzly day is the most stunning of backdrops...
