Click or tap on them to see them properly. At this time of year, I cull unwanted photos from my computer. When doing that, I always find some I had forgotten about from previous years. Here are a couple of shots when I used the camera before the camera before.

Even if you don't get what you were hoping for, if you stay still long enough, something will come along. My client and I were hoping to photograph a barn owl. It didn't show, but the sunrise and these gulls made up for it. ISO20,000. Yes, twenty thousand, OM-1 Mark II, 150-400mm F4.5 PRO lens, f.5.6, 1/1600 second.

If you are into photographing birds, Northumberland is pretty cool. The first of these, a Little Grebe, was the most recent. There are quite a few of these fabulous LBJs locally. This one was at Wildlife Discovery Centre where I was running a wildlife photography workshop for the fabulous Northumberland Wildlife Trust. The centre is worth a visit, even if just for the fabulous scones and coffee!
