📸 I’m too use to staying behind the camera, it’s time you got to know who’s taking your picture!
So let me re-introduce myself…
I’m Teegan, the owner, photographer, editor, admin, prop creator… you get it, I’m ’The Photographer Mama’ !
I am married & we have 2 beautiful children - Molly, 6 & Teddy, 2.
I’ve always LOVED photography. I wanted to study it in college, but I didn’t get good enough grades - I didn’t let that stop me, so I taught myself!
I became a mum in lockdown, and given the circumstances I couldn’t have a newborn photoshoot. So I did it myself. Molly was my model for all of lockdown, I learnt, I failed, I succeeded and I decided to start ‘The Photographer Mama’.
When she then had her first picture day at nursery, I was disappointed with the photos. I got 4 photos of her, on a plain background, same pose, with awful lighting - shadows & dark eyes. I knew I could do better and I knew parents wanted better. That’s when I began Nursery photography, MY way.
Here I am today, 4 years on, I’ve photographed thousands of children, trained in Lv.2 childcare, visited nurseries all round the south of England, expanded to family & Christmas mini photoshoots and continuing to grow my business!
Photography isn’t a job for me, it’s a passion. Meeting your little ones, capturing their little (&big) characters & giving your family precious memories to last forever, because we all know, they don’t stay little for long 🤍
