It honestly never gets old welcoming my newborn families back into the studio. One minute they're curled up in your arms, and before you know it they're toddling around with the biggest personality, cheeky smiles and so much confidence.

One-year sessions are about so much more than birthday photos. They're a chance to pause and celebrate everything you've both been through in that first incredible year. And the best part? You can jump in for some family photos too, because your little one will treasure seeing you in these memories one day.

Lenny came for his sitter shoot and you'll never guess what happened!

I first met Jenny at a baby massage class, and when she brought Lenny into the studio for his sitter session, he was an absolute star.

She fell in love with his gallery... but then realised she'd forgotten to ask if his big brother, Arthur, could be in some photos too.

The problem? They wanted these images on their wall at home, and it just didn't feel complete without both of her boys.

So we got them back into the studio a week later.

Arthur had his moment, Lenny was all smiles again, and together we captured the most playful, natural moments between them. ❤️

HELLO, “BER” MONTHS… AND “BER” BABIES! 🍁🤍

I LOVE September. And no, not just because it’s my birthday!

It’s the start of my favourite time of year…

🤎 Cosy evenings at home
🍂 Autumnal feels
🧺 Blankets & films
🏡 Plenty of excuses to stay in
🎄 And dare I say it… the countdown to Christmas!

I’m a definite home girl, so these next few months are my absolute favourite. There’s just something about that cosy, slower feeling that I love. 🤍

One day, this won't be your new normal anymore. 🤍

The tiny stretches, sleepy cuddles, and the way your eldest looks at their new baby become everyday moments so quickly.

That's why newborn photography means so much to me. It's about telling your family's story in this beautiful, fleeting chapter.

Expecting an autumn or winter baby? 🍂❄️

Now is the time to get your session in the diary. I pencil newborn sessions in around 10 days after your due date, so it's all sorted before baby arrives. Obviously things can be tweaked if need be.

A little heads-up... I have very little weekend availability left for the rest of this year. If you're hoping to book while you're on maternity, paternity or annual leave, I'd really encourage you to make the most of my weekday availability while I still have space.

These two sessions tell one beautiful story.

Your pregnancy is such a fleeting chapter, and before you know it, they're here—changing your world all over again. Capturing both your bump and those first precious days means you'll always have the full story to look back on.

One journey. Two chapters. Memories you'll never outgrow.

Pregnancy sessions are best between 28–34 weeks, and newborn sessions are best within the first two weeks (although they're always welcome later too).

One of the best compliments I can receive is hearing that your session felt stress-free and enjoyable. 🤍

As a parent, you’ve got enough to think about without worrying whether your little one will “behave” or if everything will go to plan. My aim is always to create a calm, relaxed experience where there’s time for feeds, cuddles, play and plenty of patience.

Beautiful photographs are important, of course… but knowing you genuinely enjoyed the experience? That’s the box I’m always hoping to tick.

Honestly? Don’t worry about it.

• Baby sleeps? Perfect
• Baby dozes on and off? Perfect
• Baby is wide awake for the WHOLE session? Also perfect!

I’ve had plenty of newborn sessions where babies have barely slept — and it hasn’t ruined the shoot one bit.

My images aren’t built around rigid, highly structured poses that require a baby to be completely sound asleep.

If you’re following my page, it’s probably because you love my natural, baby-led approach.

So we simply go with the flow.
✨ Awake? We work with it
✨ Sleepy? We work with it
✨ Hungry? We have a feed
✨ Need a cuddle? You cuddle!

There are no right or wrong ways for your session to happen.

So please leave the worrying to me. You just bring your baby, and I’ll create a beautiful gallery that captures them exactly as they are.

When you book a newborn shoot, you’re not just booking photos of your baby.

You’re capturing the moment your family changed forever.

Yes, we’ll photograph all those gorgeous newborn details — the tiny toes, the sleepy cuddles, the little expressions you’ll wish you could bottle up forever.
But we’ll also photograph your family.

Your older children meeting their new sibling. The excitement. The cuddles. The little looks between you. And those precious first moments of becoming a family of four, five… or whatever your new family looks like.

And I know you might not feel 100% yourself yet.
You’ve just had a baby. You’re tired, emotional, probably living in leggings and wondering when you’ll feel like you again.
But please don’t let that stop you from stepping in front of my camera.

I promise I’ll guide you, flatter you and capture you naturally. You don’t need to pose or know what to do.

Because these images aren’t about looking perfect.

They’re about remembering this.
The way your older child looked at their new baby. The way they held their tiny hand. The way you cuddled them both. The beginning of this completely new chapter.

And honestly?

I’ve never had a family regret having those images.

I’ve never had a family say, “I wish we hadn’t taken the family photos.”

In fact, I’ve never had a family NOT choose at least one.

Because years from now, these won’t just be photographs.
They’ll be memories of when everything changed. 🤍
