To reawaken our to long forgotten feed here are some amazing shots from one of a regular customers who has allowed us to share them. They seem at least a little relevant today.

Art is there to inspire others and photography to record or share ones experience to make a more connected planet.

We take great pride in our work and delight in seeing the world from a different point of view in each and every customer's film. Something we will try to carry on promoting through this feed and the Stories on here.

Georgie Gibbs is a British photographer currently based in Brighton, UK.

She is known for her soft colours, hard architecture, form and composition.

“Shooting predominantly on 35mm film, my work mainly consists of finding the beauty in the mundane from the places around me, mindfully taking images of the ordinary, keeping me present and in the moment.

Living on the south coast, the sea features quite often in my work. With the right interplay of colour, there’s always something to discover and try to capture.

What binds the majority of my work together, other than colour and shape, is both documenting and maximising a place I visit, to figure out if there’s a story there, and what the story is.”

This spring has been generous in terms of new film stocks being released, what with Adox Color Mission & Kodak Gold 200 in medium format, plus an upcoming new Cinestill stock.

Currently only available in 35mm & having only been released worldwide February 2022, the film is described by ADOX as having “delicately vibrant minty greens, peachy reds, airy grain and a purpose at the core”.

Proceeds from the sale of ADOX COLOR MISSION will be going to a new R&D project for this new, as yet unnamed film, and according to ADOX, is “helping the community in relieving the current color film shortages, as well as moving ADOX towards our research goals.”
