Something a little different for me.
A couple of rose blossom close ups from Nunnington Hall.
Straight from the camera, no editing or cropping.

Hopefully this post is allowed.

A multi part question for those in the UK that display and/or sell their own photographic work up to A3 size:

Do you print your photographs at home?

If you do, what printer and ink do you use?

Is the definition, colour and quality consistent without glitches - 1st time?

Is the ink cost effective?

Or is it better/cheaper to get them printed at a shop?

Looking at printing Scenic - including sunsets/rise and night sky, Nature, Wildlife and Macro subjects.

Thanks in advance.

Not something you come across everyday, a Hummingbird Hawk Moth on the ground.
This one was on a pavement in Fleetwood, I gently picked it up and put it on a garden wall. Took these photos and it flew off ๐Ÿ˜Š
Only had my phone with me so not super photos.

I know that this is not Wildlife or Nature, however, I was drawn to the reflection in the underside of the tower at Brighton with a near 360 degree view of the seafront.

The photo is not cropped and it was full sunshine.

Finally got around to looking at the RAW images of the 'Buck Moon' from the 29.07.26 that I took while on holiday at Kingsdown in Kent, UK

Happy with the result after a bit of an edit, looking better than the JPG ones that I published at the time ๐Ÿ™‚

I think I would consider this my best photo of a Mallard to date.

It is having a bath at Restharrow Scrape Nature Reserve that is run by Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust, Kent, UK.

Very distant shots of a juvenile Peregrine Falcon on the beach from the top of the white cliffs at St Margaret's at Cliffe near Dover on 29.07.26

I arrived after the male had caught the pigeon and left it for the youngster.

Original photos as the 1st picture and then cropped and tried to enhance the 2nd & 3rd pictures.

Nikon Z50ii with 180-600mm lens at full zoom, hand held.

Back to doing a bit more 'post holiday' photo editing, this mornings pictures are from 02.08.26.
This is a juvenile 'Oak Bush Cricket' that came to visit us at our campsite (between Shoreham-by-Sea and Lancing), on the last day that we were on the South Coast in the UK.

Assuming a juvenile as its wings have not fully developed.

Photo of a cactus flower that has appeared over the last couple of days at home.
