Amazing views in the Peak District.

Staying at the fantastic for a few nights whilst I explore the Peak District and take some photos. Naturally I had to get the drone up to capture this fantastic building, just after sunset.

Every year there is a ceremony at the Milton Keynes Nipponzan Myohoji Peace Pagoda to remember the lives taken on 6th August 1945 at Hiroshima and a few days later at Nagasaki. Being the 80th Anniversary of this event, and with the current state of the world, I decided that I would attend. It was a very uplifting evening with meditation, chanting and singing and some amazing talks by local religious leaders.

Afterwards there is a release of lanterns onto Willen lake so I made my way from the pagoda to launch the drone to capture this wonderful sight.

Whilst shooting the Willen Lake Funfair last week I couldn't resist the temptation to shoot the facility on the other side of the lake. Was great to see their new eActros 600 truck (International Truck of the Year 2025) outside the building. Would love to shoot a drone tracking photo with it.

Couldn't resist getting the drone up to shoot the Funfair last night. Conditions were perfect. Absolutely love the colours of the lights and especially their reflection in the lake.

I wanted to get a sunset photo of The Point before it is demolished but wasn't expecting the photo to be full of trees.

It's easy to believe Milton Keynes has 22 million trees planted around the city when you see a photo like this.

Absolutely not a concrete jungle!
