I don’t know how anyone could harm these beautiful intelligent animals. They ask nothing of us but the chance to live their lives in peace.
We take their habitat, kill their natural prey, then persecute them for simply trying to survive.
The countryside doesn’t need fewer foxes — it needs more tolerance from us.

I am absolutely devastated to see the wildfire at Dunwich Heath in Suffolk. I have spent so much time there and neighbouring RSPB Minsmere photographing these beautiful birds that live on the heath as well as so much other wildlife and fauna. They will all be gone and may never return in my lifetime. I am heartbroken 💔 RIP dear souls, you didn’t deserve this

I had an amazing experience watching a family of spotted flycatchers in the New Forest over a few days. It took many hours over 3 days to finally get what I was after. There were at least 3 recent fledglings, as you can see this one looks huge compared to the parent who was doing an amazing job. Another species in severe decline with an estimated loss of 90% since the 1970’s. The lack of insects splattered on our cars these days shows how hard it is getting for so many birds to find the food they need. We need to stop throwing pesticides around like confetti. They will return to Africa by late summer. I wish this little family all the luck in the world 🤞
