Mother’s Day Minis 2026!

We’ve had such a great morning today with our mini Mothers Day photoshoot!

Huge thanks to for the beautiful arrangements, we went for seasonal flowers and foraged foliage and omg did it look beautiful!

Thanks .mahoneypics for his help (and patience) and top marks to for this amazing content! Not bad for 8 years old!

My amazing God Mother, my Aunty Barbara.

I'm quiet across my socials because this weekend my wonderful Aunty Barbara sadly lost a well fought battle with cancer. Aunty Barbara was a constant throughout my life from day dot, an inspirational lady, full of joy and hope, she inspired soooo many not only as a teacher, then head teacher, but just being herself.

I didn't know if I should post, but in 2018 I had the absolute honour of photographing her wedding to the kindest soul, Peter. And so, quite rightly, I needed to post.

Aunty Barbara was inspirational, motivational, always had an ear to lend, a warm hug and advice as needed. She helped me through life in so many ways, even at one point as my swim coach! She was always there, always present and always at the end of the phone. She was always the first one on the dance floor and every time Proud Mary comes on we will always be there, she had the best head throw!

This is your reminder to take the photo. I’m so thankful to be the one to take the photos, the videos because I’m now so thankful for these.

We love you always, and all our love goes to Tam, Nat, Peter and all of the family.

3 reasons why I love elopements..

1. It’s about love in its purest form
2. I’m all about connection; elopements are this.
3. Your social battery is not drained

Elopements doesn’t though mean cheap, yes they can cost less than a big wedding because you’re simply not paying for 80-100 people eat and drink. But you can still spend a pretty penny, or, you can spend less - just like larger weddings - your choices, your day.

What do you do on the last Saturday of January?
Take one your besties to Paris for the day of course!!!

When turned 40 we knew we had to do something special, she’s so special and has had a pretty rough couple of years…. But what better way to celebrate coming through that stronger than ever with a new lease and vigour for life as she steps into the next chapter than with an extreme day trip to Paris!

And i think you’ll agree brought the lead character energy! We ain’t no walk on extra role in our own lives, we are the leading ladies - and boy did we all shine yesterday!

If you’re thinking of a day trip to Paris, DO IT!

After 400+ weddings, here’s what I’ve learned 🤍

I’ve seen a lot.
Barns, back gardens, dance floors at 2am — and couples worrying they’re “doing it wrong”. (You’re not.)

3 things I’ve learned as a hybrid wedding photographer:

1️⃣ Connection beats perfection. Every time.
The photos you’ll love aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the “oh god I really love you” looks when you forget there’s a camera nearby.

2️⃣ You don’t need to know what to do
Honestly. If you can stand next to your favourite human and hold their hand, you’re already smashing it.

3️⃣ The best moments are never on the timeline
Wind, nerves, happy tears, things running late — somehow those always make the best photos.

If you want wedding photos (and films) that feel relaxed, real, and not like a performance, we’ll get on just fine.

What a way to end our 2025 wedding season!
newsome93 and Ryan finally got to quite literally tie the knot in the most magically Scottish ceremony at

In true Scottish style the rain poured and wind blew which led us to get some amazing photos by the historic Brig O Doon - I couldn’t help but share some bts footage with you all as I sit enjoying the editing of their photos!

Thanks to the fabulous suppliers on the day - I can’t wait to share the edits!

Trying to create what I see in my mind can sometimes be challenge…. I love this because this also shows how something looks on my phone (iPhone 14pro) vs how I create it in camera and the edit.

This particular bit of gorgeousness is from Mondays beauty of a wedding, and my final wedding of 2025!
