✨Something really amazing happened this summer, and it happened twice!

I had two different families book me for two shoots within the space of a couple of months - a shoot for each set of grandparents 💞

Repeat clients are a great testament to the experience they receive, but a double booking in one summer, is an even bigger compliment for me!

One of the things I loved most was how different the shoots were with each set of grandparents - some included cousins, the other didn’t, and choosing different locations meant the photos have a completely different feel. The experiences are memorable in their own special way.

Getting photos with your loved ones is so important to me and I’m glad my clients clearly agree! It freezes a moment in time that will remind you of how it felt to all be together - the love, connection and joy 🥰

☀️ Summer 2026!

Some insta reality for you from a mum running her own business who did not go away this summer!

We were very lucky to have a big trip at Easter to visit family in New Zealand, so this summer was always going to be a quiet one at home.

My boys are 7 and 11, so they can be pretty independent a lot of the time, but they also have very different interests and we now have a puppy to think about!

I definitely felt a little overwhelmed at the start of the holidays and how I was going to ‘survive’, but survive we did, and some days we even thrived!

Always grateful to wonderful family and friends that helped make it, in Brock’s words, “Good, fun and happy!”

A ‘nice’ holiday photo taken on a phone isn’t going to cut it in a competitive world, where first impressions count and we are bombarded with images constantly.

Today is World Photo Day so I thought I’d share some images from the last few months that haven’t made it to the grid yet 📸

I’m often asked what my favourite shoots are, but I honestly can’t say as I love all my sessions for different reasons.

Ultimately a photo captures a feeling, and in my line of business, very positive feelings, and that’s what I’m drawn to - joy and smiles!

Some might say not having a niche is a negative, but I get such a buzz from the variety, as it feeds my creativity and I’m constantly inspired! Variety is the spice of life after all 🌶️
