A spider (candy web) Vs fly. Fly is now lunch for this pretty looking spider. Perched on my H**e, the spider knew where to catch it's next meal.

Swift's having a good free on the midges that reside close to the waters edge at Fairlie, north Ayrshire. I love hearing their screeches, reminds me of summer.

Ladybird larvae have moved into my garden. One perched on a daisy type flower and the other perched on my yarrow plant. I'm pleased to see these making an appearance as the greenfly persist to invade.
