Maybe the house in my post yesterday wasn’t quite big enough for you. If so then this could be the perfect place.
With 11 bedrooms and 24.000 square feet, it’s got to do.
You’ll find it in the village of Horton-cum-Studley, just north of Oxford.
I shot it earlier in the spring for who are now selling it.

Shot on one of those hot dry days of last summer, the Manor House in Steane, Northamptonshire.
Built in the 1880s, by architect George Devey who had an early interest in pebble-dash, fortunately used only on the gables of this house.
It’s a lovely comfortable country house with a bit of land and for sale at the moment with Knight Frank.

Slapton is worth by a house in, just for the name alone! But then there’s this wonderful converted and enlarged former watermill.
It’s at the end of a tiny lane, private and secluded. And it has all the extras.

Houses in Great Rollright are always popular, and I should imagine this one will be too!
It’s on the edge of the village, with a bit of a paddock and great views.

I love this house.
It’s on the edge of Adderbury in north Oxfordshire. A super chunky Edwardian house with lots of good rooms and lovely land, and until I photographed it, I had no idea it existed.
It had a spell on the market last year and is back on again now and it really surprises me that it’s still around.
