💜 A Pre-Loved Ask From Us.. 💜

As the colder weather starts to creep in, we’re looking for warm, cosy clothing for little ones aged 3+.

We’re also looking for prams and buggies that are in excellent condition and less than 10 years old.

Something that your children no longer need could make such a huge difference to another local family. Whether it’s a warm coat for a little one walking to school or a pram that gives a parent the chance to get out with their baby. We know each item will be loved!

When? 🕥

We've all said it. "I could do with a duvet day." Not because we're ill. Because we're tired.

Life is busy. Work is demanding. Family life is full-on. Sometimes, all we really crave is a little time to slow down. A duvet day has become shorthand for something we all need from time to time.

Rest. Comfort. The chance to switch off.

But for too many children across our community, comfort isn't a feeling. It's something they're missing.

A bed. A warm duvet. Fresh bedding. Somewhere safe to sleep.

That's why we're launching Duvet Day as part of our Sweet Dreams campaign.

We're inviting businesses across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to create their own version of a duvet day. Some of our supporters are raffling an extra day's annual leave. Others are donating hotel stays, spa experiences, luxury bedding and little escapes. Every workplace is making it their own, and we'd love yours to be part of it too.

It really couldn't be simpler.

Help provide beds, bedding and sleep essentials for local children.

On 2nd October, we'll celebrate every business taking part and reveal the total raised. Together, we'll help ensure more local children have the comfort of a warm bed, cosy bedding and somewhere safe to sleep before the darker nights roll in - so bedtime can be about cuddling up under a duvet, sharing a bedtime story and drifting off to sweet dreams.

Another beautiful wedding at the weekend, which was brimming full of home made charm, and so many personal touches, to make this day so, so special. Candid and relaxed was the brief for the photos - and ‘ catching the moment ‘.

Ellie and James, had the ceremony conducted by their great friend Hannah, from London, and they had THE BEST Ring bearer too - their fur baby Jet, a black collie - who is just adorable!

Choosing special friends children as junior attendants - they were all so good, and were just loving the buzz of the day - including the Crazy Golf, and of course, The Highland Alpacas - who were petted and walked by some of the guests during the afternoon - and everyone loved having them there.

Ellie, a fitness manager, here in Aberdeen, has also a very creative streak - helping make the cake with James, and some friends, and collected driftwood for table decoration, as well as all the wedding signs and flowers - what a talented girl!

Lots of great friends on hand on Saturday, to make it a day to remember for sure!

Thank you both Ellie and James, for being so chilled and taking everything in your stride, and, being such great company to be around - we just loved it.

Feels like I've know you for a lifetime!

Lost for words.........now that's unusual !

The first time I met Phoenix and David, I knew within five minutes, we would get on just brilliantly.

This young modern couple, down from Peterhead, tied the knot on Saturday, at the gorgeous Marcliffe - and it was just perfect in every way.

As I got to know them better, I realise that they are one of the nicest couples I have had to be around, and to cover their wedding was a complete privilege.

So their special day went very smoothly, streamline, with lots of fun and laughter, and once again, I just felt like 'one of the family'.

Phoenix, apart from being beautiful on the inside and out , (she is a nurse, and her caring nature in every day life shines through) - and the added bonus - that wicked sense of humour - right up my street! David just goes with the flow, and I know just by the way he looks at her, he's definately found THE ONE!

Absolutely great to meet all the family too, who were the most welcoming and friendliest people you could ever meet - lots of nice chats, and the banter was flowing well!

Phoenix (I even love her name!) - thank you for making my job very easy at the weekend - the camera loved you big time - and David, you are an easy guy to entertain, along with a' your lads by your side on Saturday. Liam's quip in the speech........(let's nae make it public)- so,so funny.....laughed a' the way home!

To you and your three fur babies, thank you so much for letting me capture your very special day on Saturday - it was simply brilliant, and so much fun to be with you all.
