I'm a family photographer based in Cudworth, Barnsley, and specialise in newborn, maternity, and family photography. I have a cosy studio at my home for newborn and baby portraits. For outdoor photography, I'm happy to travel around Barnsley and surrounding areas. Having a child of my own helped me realise the real value of photos and how much I love photography.

There is something truly special about capturing the bond between siblings 🤍

I know that for little ones, spending up to two hours in one place can sometimes feel like a long time. That's why I’ve designed my studio to be as family-friendly and relaxed as possible.

The studio is bright, spacious, and easy to clean, so there's no need to worry about the occasional snack break or a few crumbs along the way. There is plenty of room for children to play while they wait, helping everyone feel comfortable throughout the session.

And as an added bonus, when the weather allows, families are welcome to make use of the garden play area too.

*For safety, children must remain supervised by a parent at all times.

I've been a little quieter on social media recently. May was my busiest month in seven years of photography, and my focus has been on editing galleries and welcoming families into the studio.

Current availability:

• June – 4 sessions remaining
• July – limited availability during the first three weeks
• Away from the UK 24th July to 14th August. Although I'll be away, I will still be responding to messages and editing galleries as usual.
• August – very limited weekend availability, with weekday evening sessions only

I hope you are all keeping well during this heatwave ☀️

Thankfully, the new studio has remained beautifully cool and comfortable even on the warmest days, allowing me to continue safely capturing these precious newborn moments in a calm and relaxed environment.

So grateful to spend my days photographing such beautiful little babies 🤍
