Hi Everyone. So just 4 months to the start of Prom season. I have a few remaining dates available for your school leavers. Prom shoots are very similar to a Bride getting ready... A usual shoot can last between 4-5 hours.

But there is no time limit! I don’t want to miss anything!

This allows for Hair & Makeup, Nails and getting ready time. Once you're all dressed it's then onto 1-2-1 shooting and getting friends and family involved.

Dates available: 25th & 29th June - 3rd July to 8th July!

Prom’s are a once-in-a-lifetime moment, so it should feel as special as you’ve always imagined. It’s the perfect occasion to wear the dress you’ve always dreamed of and feel like a princess on your big day!

To document this beautiful moment and create memories to last a lifetime I’m only charging £150. All photos uploaded to a downloadable gallery and an A3 print of your choice.

I just wanted to share with you all, A little look back at the last 4 to 5 years of the amazing opportunities I've had at capturing some brilliant photos. Whether that's capturing families, cars, engagement's, parties, prom's, friendships and right through to celebrating Barnsley Pride with the amazing Aimee! Hi Everyone. So the time has come for me to announce that from Summer 2026 I will no longer be doing photography. Working full time for the NHS and doing Photography doesn’t give me much quality time. Also the cost of the industry just keeps getting more and more expensive! Anyone who is booked in with me for weddings, Proms or portrait shoots, please be assured I will still be completing these shoots for you. I won’t be taking any more bookings for weddings as from today, however, if anyone needs headshots or would like to book for Prom season, please contact me and I’ll get you booked in. At this point I’d like to say a massive Thank You to everyone who has booked, supported and had memories created through Gareth Shaw Photography. It’s been a brilliant 16 years and every photo has been a unique and exciting opportunity to tell a new story! XxX

What a year it’s been for photography! A quick look back over 2025! Everything from Beautiful Weddings, Amazing Prom’s, Stunning Headshots, Magnificent Families, Barnsley Pride and the chance to Shoot for my favourite Basketball Team The Sheffield Sharks. Proms 2026..
Special offer - £150 for Prom Photography 📸

Hi Everyone, so prom dress shopping is well underway and more and more are saying “Yes to their Dress”! 👗

Some young ladies have now secured their slots for their special days to be captured by me, so availability is becoming limited. I also still have a couple who are just awaiting date confirmations so please do get in touch with any queries or be added to my waiting list 📅

A usual prom shoot can last between 3-4 hours+. But there is no time limit as I book the full day out for your school leaver! I don’t shoot 2 proms in the same day.

After the Shoot!………. You’ll get some sneaky peeks 👀

Then approximately 1-2 weeks later, once your photos have been edited, I will upload the photos to an online gallery where you can download to a PC, Laptop, Mobile or Tablet. The photos will be password protected to cover any eventuality. Once you’ve received your photos, I ask you to choose your favourite shot and I get this professionally printed for you.
You can also order more if you wish at an additional cost, or alternatively you can print them yourself 🫶🏼

For those who haven’t chosen their dress yet-
I’d like to recommend Lily's Boutique Sheffield. They specialise in Prom dresses and don’t ever sell the same dress for a singular event twice. They would hate for any girl to turn up to her prom in the same dress as her classmates! Once a girl chooses her dress, it becomes unavailable to any other girl in the school.
(Just to add, I am not affiliated in any way with Lily’s boutique, they are just a recommendation by me).
