TOP 75(ish) PHOTOS OF THE YEAR

As 2023 comes to a close and a New Year dawns, I thought I'd post some of my favourite images from what has been a memorable year. I'd like to thank all my wonderful couples who trusted me to photograph or film their weddings in 2023 and for all those who have booked for 2024 & 2025 - I shall enjoy each and every. one of them! I should also like to shout out my 'partner in photography', Charlotte Atherton Photography for inviting me to second shoot many times at her weddings.
I have also included examples of my portraiture and expanding commercial work. There will also, of course, be some images from my 'DarkArt Ladies' & 'Shipwrecked' projects included - just to show that I do still produce personal work! Finally, I went to Paris in March with Tim (boss of J&A Cameras) to see a PSG match - although they lost, I was a privilege to see both Messi & Mbappe play in the flesh and was undoubtedly one of the year's highlights!

Well, the weather for Abbie & Tom's big day at Tawstock Court turned out to be as mixed as anticipated - but we did have some beautiful light when it mattered! As I had this weekend without a wedding, I thought I'd post an image from one of my favourites from last year! How elegant does look in the beautiful venue of ? Corrine is wearing her incredible dress from .
Make up was by Rachel from and expertly captured the events on video. Although I love photographing the dramatic moments, it's important to ensure that all these vital details are recorded also.

As I have just returned from Cornwall shooting rental properties for - I was reminded that I hadn't posted any images from Laura & Julian's wonderful wedding 28 weeks ago! So in order to rectify this oversight, and as their wedding album has just been sent to be printed, here is a shot of and enjoying a special moment on the beach. This image took me right back to the day itself, full of joy and fun - certainly worth it after all the Covid postponements! Lovely working with Lucy Holding again too!

Well, it's wedding season so I thought I'd post an image from last week's Naval wedding in Plymouth. Despite the cold February weather, and I had a fantastic time capturing Karl and Sophie's special day. After multiple postponements this wedding was so worth the wait! Can't believe that it was twelve months ago that and .p.sav became husband and wife at last. The day itself was memorable - the location stunning and the weather even better - a wedding day to truly remember! It was also a pleasure to work with again.

Really excited to be photographing Kate & Mark's big day tomorrow at Beaconside House near Bideford. As well as a fantastic couple, the venue is exquisite and it's an honour to be working with and Chris from - think there will be a considerable amount of laughter, plus smoke grenades!
