Milly & Lewis at Dalston Hall

These two were just an absolute joy. Such an amazing couple, so easy-going, so much fun, and the whole day felt completely effortless from start to finish.

Champagne flying, loads of laughs, beautiful little moments, and then absolute chaos on the dance floor 😂📸 Pretty much everything you want from a wedding.

Dalston Hall looked incredible too.

Jodie & Ashley at Townhead Estate

Such a gorgeous day from start to finish. Beautiful details, a brilliant group of people, loads of laughs and then that unreal evening light over the lake 😍

These two were so easy to photograph. Relaxed, happy, completely themselves and just clearly having the best time.

Townhead looked incredible too. The ceremony, the gardens, the lake and that sunset all came together perfectly.

Definitely one of those weddings where you come away thinking, yep, that was a good one 😄

Coral & Wayne at Abbey House

What a day this was. Gorgeous light, a brilliant crowd and a couple who were absolutely hilarious, slightly crazy and completely up for anything 😂

From the ceremony right through to the champagne tower, packed dance floor and that huge firework finish, this one had so much energy from start to finish.

Absolutely loved photographing these two. Looking back through the photos made me realise just how much fun I had with them.

Lois & James at the gorgeous Lodore Falls 🤍

What a day this was. Beautiful weather, an incredible setting and possibly the happiest dog in the Lake District 😂🐶

We headed out around Derwentwater later in the day and were treated to the most gorgeous evening light 😍 The Lakes definitely showed off for us with this one!

Polly and Harry at Dalston Hall.

My first time photographing a wedding here, and what a day it turned out to be. It started with some pretty miserable rain, but thankfully the sun came out just in time and completely changed the atmosphere. Everyone headed outside to enjoy the sunshine, with drinks, mini golf and plenty of laughs.

Mr & Mrs Borowski at the beautiful Netherwood Hotel, Grange-over-Sands.

It had been ages since I’d photographed a wedding at Netherwood, and I’d forgotten just how much I enjoy it. Set above Morecambe Bay with gorgeous Victorian architecture and stunning views, it’s a brilliant Lake District wedding venue.

This one felt like a proper summer wedding. The sunshine was out, guests spent most of the day outside chatting, laughing and enjoying the gardens, and the whole place had such a relaxed atmosphere. Those are always my favourite kinds of weddings to photograph because everyone is simply having a great time.

Congratulations again, Summer & Nathan . Thank you for letting me be part of such a fantastic day.

Matt & Abby at one of my favourite venues, Holesfoot. Every time I photograph a wedding here I’m reminded why it’s such a special place. The Italian gardens are absolutely stunning and make the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony, while the whole venue has such a relaxed, elegant feel.
