really want to know about me (though if you do, I can tell you that I love animals and I’m quite partial to a glass of gin and tonic or two). Because that’s essentially what photography is, it’s a way of documenting portions of our lives that we can’t put down in words. It’s a way to share moments of our past with future generations so we can say ‘this is what I used to look like’. So how will you know if I’m the right photographer for your story? Read through the points below and if they sound like you, then you’ve found the right photographer. You love and appreciate beautifully crafted images. Quality is more important to you than quantity. You want a fun, relaxed photoshoot. You want some beautiful pieces of art to hang on the walls of your home. You want an experienced, trained, qualified photographer who will capture the images you want. You don’t want a hard sell at your viewing session. You want a photographer who can get great results in any situation. Attention to detail is important to you. Did you answer yes to most of those? Then congratulations, you’ve found your photographer! TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CANCELLATION: In the event that you need to cancel your session, the photographer requires 48 hours notice. You may reschedule your session with no fee. If less than 24 hours notice is given, a rescheduling fee may be applied. If you choose not to reschedule, you will forfeit your session fee. PURCHASING IMAGES: Images must be chosen at your viewing session and a 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering. An online gallery is available subject to a £25 admin fee which is deductible from your final order. STORAGE OF IMAGES: Images will be kept for 6 months after which time they will be archived.

Sometimes this job gives you the most extraordinary moments and today was one of those days.

I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the most beautiful newborn girl into my studio for her very first photos. I already knew that she had been born at home with the help of paramedics but what I didn't know was what was coming next.

This little one's big sister came to me for her newborn session almost two years ago, so it was already such a special reunion to welcome this family back. But then things got even more extraordinary.

I mentioned that my brother is a paramedic and said he might be able to find out who had attended the birth. That's when mum said she wondered if my brother had been there.

I showed her a photo and asked if it was him.

It was.

My brother was one of the three paramedics who helped bring this little girl into the world and just days later, she was in my studio having her very first photos taken by his sister.

I genuinely had no words. I still don't really.

This job of mine is something else. Every single day I get to capture the very beginning of someone's story and today, it turns out, our family had already played a small part in that story too.

Welcome to the world little one. What an entrance you've made.

Cleaning my cake smash flooring has always been way down on the list of things I like doing because it’s such a faff. This is about to change that.
I’m fairly certain the whole studio will have been stream cleaned by the end of the day.
