There's a particular quality of light at Leez Priory on a summer's day – warm, unhurried, generous. It suits a couple like this perfectly.

Their day had a natural ease to it. Celebratory without being showy. The kind of wedding where the joy is completely unforced, and the photographs almost take themselves.

not every wedding photographer is right for every couple. and I think that's worth being honest about.

I'm Tel — an Essex based editorial wedding photographer. My approach is simple. I work in small pockets of time throughout your day, so you're never away from your guests for long. The rest of my time I'm blending in, watching, and catching the moments that happen when nobody's performing for the camera.

I'm right for couples who want their day to feel exactly as it should — relaxed, natural, completely theirs. I'm not right for couples who want a shot list, a Pinterest board recreated, or someone directing every moment.

My couples choose me because they love my work. Everything else follows from there.
