A cheeky little to shooting Thomas Cox Passat wagon in Porsche Miami blue, full feature coming to Performance VW magazine soon
Last time I posted about the detail in a shoot and a fly getting in the shot you guys were really interested int be lengths we go to clean up a shot for a magazine feature.
Here’s another example,
As a travelling photographer, When shooting in public spaces it’s almost guranteed that the general public will mostly accidentally get in the shot some how.
Sometimes they see all the lighting rigged up and camera/tripod etc and park close by to come and see what’s happening not knowing they are getting in the shot.
If I was to zoom out of this image those without a keen eye for this detail probably wouldn’t even noticed the motorhome and Audi A2 that were reflecting in the gloss black part of Toms bumper. But I see it, I notice it and for a mag shoot I like it to be as clean as possible.
Am I taking that too far? Possibly, when most won’t notice but I take pride in noticing these details and tidying them in edit.
