Becoming a parent is quite possibly the most life changing thing you can do on this earth - and whilst it feels terrifying... It's one of the most amazing things you will ever do.

Its a mixture of utter excitement, anxiety, love, worry - all thrown into one pot. But one thing is for sure - once you are in it, you will wonder what life was ever like before you felt that insane love for your baby.

The number one questions I get asked when the sun comes out…

What do we wear for our session?!

My absolute top picks for your session are tones that you find naturally outdoors. Imagine the colours you see as you walk round outside… earthy, muted, warm, cosy …

Tan, cream, brown, white, soft yellow, sage greens.

And my one tip is to mix and match these colours. So if you are wearing a cream dress, he can be in tan pants and a white shirt, and then your baby in a mix of this palette. The key isn’t to be matching, it’s just flow the tones between you so the eye is drawn around the image.

If you need help, I’m always here to give you outfit advice!

Oh and my big one… never wear black as it drains your image completely!

So I have two children and you would think that because they share the same DNA from me and my husband, that they would think, feel and want the same things - wrong!

They are literally chalk and cheese and parenting them takes completely different approaches for the most part.

I remember dreaming about what they would be like when they were in my tummy and I can honestly say that they completely blew apart everything that I expected.

I sometimes just stare at them completely amazed by what incredible people they are growing up to be 🖤

And I see it when you look at your bump - all that wonder and excitement - and it makes me so excited for you!

9 months feels like an eternity to wait for your baby to arrive. You can't wait to see what they look like, get to know their personality, feel them in your arms.

But enjoy this time. Relax and breathe it in, take some time out for you before your world becomes all tiny feet and nappies.

Motherhood is about to be the biggest and best change of your life and it's the most incredible journey... and one that needs to you to be rested and to take these days slowly mama.
