For every mum who had to put her baby in a bouncer in the bathroom just so she could take a shower ... (mine won’t even go in the bouncer)
You, I see you, and you are capable of any and everything in this world…
I’m still here rushing through a 1 minute shower while singing in a silly voice our made up song and playing peek a boo around the foggy glass door so she won’t cry. (But she still does)
To the mums who learned how to go to the little girls room while holding a sleeping baby, or wrestling crocodile …
The mums who mastered some form of eating, cleaning, texting, and surviving with one hand.
Learning to do everything one-handed isn't for the weak.
Neither is timing your entire existence around nap so you can think straight 😫 and edit ..or reply..
Nobody gives out medals for these things.
But they should. REALLY
Because some of the strongest women in the world are you mums, doing these absolutely impossible things, every day with no help, no breaks, and no audience.
And somehow, they still keep showing up.
I applaud you. Because bloody hell, this is hard!! I am so so grateful for my friends/ clients who keep me sane by keeping me and my sanity busy 😅 I AM SO GRATEFUL I have my “work”
We make mistakes, we misjudge, we forget things, we miss things occasionally, I want to thank you all for your grace with me while I’m juggling this new chapter…
✨I am not sure if this specific photo was a self portrait or if my husband who is also a wonderful photographer took this one 💛
