A Red-backed Shrike making short work of a feisty meal! Known as the “butcher bird,” shrikes famously stash their prey on thorns- making their very own larder.

White tailed eagle on launch pad … This beautiful Eagle stood on guard at the edge of a large tributary in the Danube Delta-standing watch over its territory. Allowed us to silently manoeuvre around before taking off -this is an incredible area for Wildlife Photography and I did my tour with. - A highly experienced ornithologist and tour guide - and also just a really nice guy!! so if you fancy a trip in the Danube Delta do get in touch with him!

Small moments, big beauty series - no 1. 🖤

This little kestrel sat perfectly still for me, all fluffed up on an old tree stump. I couldn’t resist a black and white edit — I love how it brings out all that feather detail.

Definitely one of those moments where you just stand, watch and enjoy.
