My Reason ❤️
For any of you who have booked in with me you probably know this already 🙈 but these 3 little munchkins are the reason I decided to start taking my own photos. We have had some really bad experiences with photos, especially at Christmas.. the magical time when kids are so excited to see the man in red and find out if they will be on the nice list 🤞😀 it was so stressful, with a grumpy man or woman, telling them where to stand, not even giving them a chance to look at the big man. 😢. One in particular, was so rude to my little boy, my middle son Caogán, he was 3 at the time and so excited to see Santa, he is autistic, like his little brother and at the time could only say a handful of words but was having the best day and this person told him off 😢 I was so annoyed. He ruined the magical experience and that's what we now remember about the Christmas photos that year.
So that night I decided I wanted photos and memories, we could all cherish without the stress, with the kids enjoying themselves, wrecking the set up 😂😂 no rush, no scary cheeky grown ups 🙈.
And here we are the 2nd year of taking my own photos that I love of my babies and memories to cherish ❤️
So if you are booked in with me for photos, that's what Serenity Snaps is all about. The kids having fun, giving them time to adjust and explore and once they are comfortable, we see the magic and happiness, we all want to remember ❤️
Im still on my journey of learning and because of Covid its held me back a bit but practice makes perfect.
