November has ended and Winter is drawing in, along with Christmas and all that comes with it.

A few photos to say goodbye to November and hello December and all that awaits.

I do love Christmas and seeing the joy on people's faces, kids so excited for weeks in the build up to that special day.

As much as I do love Christmas, I do not look forward to it, the planning of my escape from social gatherings if I even attend any. The stress of remembering to send presents, or place an online order. The extra effort required to appear cheerful because everyone seems to talk to each other more at this time of year, a smile seems expected or you are thought of as the Grinch or Scrooge. Rehearsing my casual response to that dreaded question, "how are you?" So I can feel like I am not having to lie each time I am asked.
There really are just too many unexpected moments at Christmas for the brain to try and plan for, but it tries none the less, working overtime to try and foresee every possible situation until exhaustion hits.

End result, I think I will sleep this Christmas
