To celebrate Women in Engineering Day, we were delighted to welcome aspiring female engineers to our offices and one of our live connection sites for an inspiring behind-the-scenes look at life in the industry.

Two of our engineers, Heather and Deborah, shared their career journeys during a Q&A session, offering honest insights into their experiences and demonstrating some of the equipment they use every day on the job.

The group also visited one of our connection sites to learn about site safety, discover the innovative technologies helping to improve productivity, and hear how a mole is used to connect properties to the mains.

It was fantastic to meet women at different stages of their careers, all keen to explore the opportunities engineering has to offer. We hope the day inspired the next generation of female engineers.

We're proud to share that all of our customer-facing staff have now completed Inclusive Service Consumer Vulnerability Training. 👏

Our team learned how to use our very own 'Signs, Consider, Adjust' framework to:

✅ Spot the Signs of vulnerability

✅ Consider the impact of our work on each individual

✅ Adjust - offering more time, alternative formats or extra support when needed

The ‘Signs, Consider, Adjust’ training means we’re always looking out for our customers’ needs and making sure everyone gets fair treatment, no matter their circumstances.

Phoenix Energy is delighted to announce the launch of Eco Heroes, an engaging and fully funded sustainability education programme for primary school pupils across the Phoenix licensed area.

Designed for P5–P7 classes, the interactive 45–60 minute workshop empowers young people to become environmental champions by exploring how simple everyday actions can make a positive difference to the planet.

Following an extremely positive response, the programme is now fully booked for 2026, with bookings open for eligible schools within the Phoenix Energy licensed area from 2027 onwards.
