Hands up who’s been watching the new Netflix series How to Get to Heaven from Belfast? 🙌

I was a huge fan of Derry Girls (the dry wit and sarcasm of Sister Michael was always my favourite), so I had high hopes for Lisa McGee’s new series. I found it more of a slow burner, and the plot a bit hard to keep up with at the beginning, although by episode three I was hooked.

When I spotted that St John's Point Lighthouse featured as a filming location in the series, it reminded me of the day I headed down to photograph it a year or so back. I sent the drone up to capture the lighthouse against the rugged Co. Down coastline. On that evening the cows had broken out of a field in search of pastures new because they were casually wandering across the rocks making their way toward the front gates. Never spotted anyone held hostage in the lighthouse escaping out of any windows of it though! 😉

This image is available as a print for anyone who loves the Co. Down coast and wants a timeless piece of it on their wall.

I tried to make a TikTok of me boxing up orders because I thought I’d finally start putting a bit more effort into social media. And honestly… social media is HARD! Promoting your own work is bizarrely difficult. Some folk make it look effortless, and if they have imposter syndrome, they hide it very well.

In 10+ years of business I’ve never actually shown my mug on here. But bless the TikTok camera, it does a suspiciously impressive job at smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. If only anti-wrinkle cream worked that well. 🙃

In happier news, tote bags are now live on the website!
And yes, they too can be boxed up and posted… anywhere in the world. One of the parcels in that video* was heading to Aberdeen in the United States, who knew there was an Aberdeen in America? I certainly didn’t. Every day’s a school day! 😄
(*Edit, the video I shared was from a 24hr story that disappeared from this post after the said 24hrs was up… so I’ve stuck a new video in) 🙈

📆 The 2026 Calendars Have Arrived!

Yes, I know it’s only July, but the new 2026 calendars are here already. This is probably the earliest I’ve ever managed to get them designed and produced. Talk about on the ball...😄

I filmed a little preview. Unlike the video, the actual calendars are pin sharp, the print quality is spot on and I'm super pleased with them. If you've got one before you know the score, they're A4 when folded and each month opens into A3 size.

They’ll be at St George’s Market this weekend, I just need to do a bit of table-Tetris to make space for them... somehow. Come by and have a look!

Hello, remember me?

It’s that time of year again where I pop up to say I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth, I'm just quietly working away behind the scenes, as always.

Since my last update, we’ve added some gorgeous new jigsaw puzzles to the collection, all featuring our Northern Ireland landmarks. And fun fact: we were the first to design and create our own local landmark jigsaws featuring Northern Ireland! 🧩

Dunluce at Sunset

Another shot of Dunluce taken on Thursday evening. I'd previously posted a drone shot with sidelight, taken from a different angle, but like the colourful sunset in this shot too. It was good to get out and enjoy that beautiful evening.

Dunluce Castle & The North Coast

Dunluce Castle and the North Coast was bathed in some stunning golden light, yesterday evening. My new drone that has sat neglected in a box finally got its maiden flight. Pictured is the castle, the mermaid's cave that is situated underneath it & the wishing arch in the distance.

2025 A3 Wall Calendar

Hello! Remember me? It's been a while...

2024 has not been the year for getting out to get many (well correction… any!) photos but my word, has there been a lot going on. A few new stockists has kept us on our toes, it's definitely been the year I've made the most prints, and life threw a few curve balls along the way.

I'm looking forward to dusting off the camera to get back out there soon... 🤞
