What a lovely day we had celebrating Sarah and Ross’s wedding!

The weather actually behaved itself and kept us nice and dry, even if the sun decided to stay mostly hidden. It didn’t matter though, as they had such a great day surrounded by their favourite people.

So good to be there and capture it all for them. One of those days that was just easy, relaxed and full of good moments.

With more rainy days than sunny ones here, my biggest tip is to embrace whatever weather you get.

You only get one wedding day, so don’t let the rain stop you from enjoying it. Grab your other half, go for a walk, run through the rain and have a bit of fun with it, just like Grace and Niall did.

I honestly love a city wedding, and there’s something about the rain that just makes it feel that wee bit more romantic.

Ahhh, those 10 minutes of photos after dinner always pay off!

I want my couples to actually enjoy their wedding day, not spend hours taking photos. The more photos the better, obviously, but never at the expense of having a good time. No rushing, no getting bored, no disappearing for ages. Just a few minutes here and there when it feels right.

Sophie and Niall tied the knot at their family home and got the absolute best day for a garden/farm wedding. After dinner, we snuck away for a few minutes to mess about in the fields behind the house, and somehow came away with these little moments that I know they’ll love looking back on forever.

Sometimes 10 minutes is all you need.

What an amazing day for Rebecca and Fearghal at the beautiful Hillmount House.

We’d already had a little preview of what their wedding was going to be like during their pre-wedding shoot, and honestly, that was a pretty good sample of what was to come. But the actual wedding day was even better than I could’ve imagined.

So much fun, so many good people, and a couple who were just completely themselves from start to finish. Hillmount House was the perfect setting for it all, and I’m very glad I got to be there to capture it.

Belfast City Hall, a brilliant couple, their favourite people and a whole lot of craic. Pretty hard to beat that combo.

Meredith and Patrick were an absolute joy to hang out with, and having their closest family and friends there made the whole day feel so relaxed and fun.

City Hall is still firmly up there as one of my favourite places to work, and this day was a pretty good reminder why.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of some venues, and Bangor Castle is definitely at the top of my list of places I just...

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of some venues, and Bangor Castle is definitely at the top of my list of places I just love working at!

This time it was for Rebecca and Matthew, and what a beautiful day we got for it!

Surrounded by their friends and family, they had the best time celebrating together, and I was once again so lucky to be chosen to be part of such a special day in a couple’s journey.

So grateful I got to be there to capture it all.

Tomorrow!

Had the best time with Rebecca and Fearghal at their pre-wedding shoot. So much fun, plenty of laughs, and a pretty good little preview of the energy I’m expecting tomorrow.

Can’t wait to see these two again and finally photograph the wedding day!
