One of the biggest investments I’ve made in my new studio space has been the installation of a purpose built food photography kitchen.
Designed specifically for commercial food photography and videography, the new kitchen gives clients a versatile, production ready space where recipes can be prepared, cooked and captured all in one place.
The standout feature is the large island with a fully integrated induction hob and built in extraction system. With no overhead extractor hood to obstruct cameras or lighting, it creates clean sightlines for overhead photography, video production and multiple camera angles, giving far greater creative freedom on set.
The Scandinavian inspired design and neutral colour palette provide a timeless backdrop that complements a wide range of brands without competing for attention. The floating shelves can be styled to suit everything from seasonal campaigns to premium editorial shoots, allowing the space to be transformed to fit each client’s brief.
Around the kitchen, there’s plenty of room for lighting, camera rigs and production equipment, while the studio can make use of beautiful natural light or be completely blacked out for total lighting control.
Every detail has been designed to make productions more efficient, more flexible and ultimately deliver stronger imagery for my clients.
If you’re planning a packaging refresh, launching a new product, or creating content for advertising, social media or your website, I’d love to show you the new space. Get in touch to arrange a studio visit or chat about your next project.
