A Paraselene is rare and unusual event in meteorology when light from the moon encounters hexagonal ice crystals in clouds at an angle of 22 degrees, even more unusual to see colours and the light passing through gets focused.

Degree day ceremony in Oxford at the Sheldonian Theatre built by Sir Christopher Wren in the 1660s . The ceremony is very much a traditional affair with academic formal dress mandatory.
