There are fun events to cover and then there was Loud and Proud by .fitnessco and . Amazing fun, almost got as much of a workout as the participants and I saw a drag queen on an assault bike. What more is there?

And Saturday's second event was the May Ball put on by Amici Bruerni, the parents' association for Bruern Abbey School. Glitz, glam, unbelievable food and dancing in an oak-panelled drawing room. What more could you ask for?

The exchange of rings might not be the showiest part of your wedding day, but for me it is one of the most important. What the rings represent is everything that marriage embodies; the exchange symbolises the completeness of two people joined together as one. The emotion behind each of these images takes me straight back to the moment.

2025 has been a defining year for me and for Bedwell Photography. I stepped away from a successful career in education and committed to photography full time. It has been challenging, rewarding, and a constant learning process, particularly in weddings and commercial work. These images are a small snapshot of a year that has changed the direction of my work and my life.

I’m offering a very limited number of photography gift vouchers for Christmas. These cover a one hour outdoor family or portrait session, with a private gallery containing a minimum of 10 images, all for £150 per voucher.

It’s a lovely way to give someone an experience and some photos they’ll treasure.

Vouchers are valid throughout 2026 and can be used on any date subject to availability. Physical vouchers will be posted or can be collected locally.

Terms & Conditions

1. Voucher is valid until 31 December 2026.

2. Dates are subject to photographer availability. Early booking is recommended.

3. Location must be within 20 miles of Heyford Park. Travel fees apply outside this radius.

4. Rescheduling due to weather or illness is allowed without charge.

5. The voucher includes a minimum of 10 edited high-resolution digital images.

6. The voucher is non-refundable but may be transferred to another person if you notify the photographer.

7. Weekday and weekend bookings are treated equally, but key summer dates may be limited.

8. Physical voucher must be presented (photo on phone is fine).

Next up to share from a wonderfully busy October of weddings is this highlight reel from Caitlin and Alex's day in Cheshire. Again, I obviously cried (must get a grip) because weddings are ace. I said this when I first met them for their engagement shoot but it is very easy to make beautiful photos when a couple are so obviously as made for each other as these two are.
