An introduction..
I thought a little explanation to any new followers about how I work could be helpful.
I’m Dan!
A Midlands wedding photographer for people who don’t want to spend their whole wedding being photographed.
I quietly follow the day around with my camera while you get on with having a wedding — capturing the real moments, the subtle moments, the emotional hugs, the raucous laughs and the bits you completely missed in the chaos of it all.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, with just enough guidance to keep things natural and never awkward. From morning prep til questionable dance floor decisions, I’m there to tell the full story of the day as it actually felt. Comprehensive coverage.
Group photos? Absolutely, if you want them. Relaxed portraits for the mantelpiece? Of course. Uncle crying during the speeches while pretending he’s “got something in his eye”? Hopefully.
At the end of it all, my aim is simple really — honest photographs that feel like your wedding, not a photoshoot.
