The Royal Liver Building is one of Liverpool’s Three Graces that line the waterfront. It was one of the first buildings in the world to be built using reinforced concrete and used to be one of the tallest buildings in the country.
Fun fact my 3rd Year architecture ball was held in the Liver Building and was the perfect way to end 3 great years!

The Museum of Liverpool. I love the way the building stands out from the surrounding buildings yet interacts with its location by reflecting the colours of the water and sky. The large window often has an interesting reflection of the water, although not seen in this photo the reflection is very peaceful to watch.

Radio City Tower or St Johns Beacon, Liverpool. For a Christmas present one year me and my family went up to the viewing gallery in radio city tower, despite the amazing views across Liverpool and beyond I don’t do very well with heights so was absolutely terrified the whole time! 🌇

Ps if you ever get lost in Liverpool follow the tower!

So during lockdown Calum has experimented with lots of different hair styles and colours including, red, peach, purple and dark blue (which didn’t go too well 😂) This was a shoot we did while he was in between hair colours. I like the way the makeup matches the hair whilst contrasting with his top.

ps this is going to be the last photo of Calum for a while, the next portrait series you’ll get to meet the family!

This was a portrait taken from a previous makeup shoot that I experimented with in post production. I liked the way one side of Calum’s face was a lot darker than the other. I tried to emphasise this contrast by playing around with the colours in black and white.

After doing a Portrait masterclass I took Calum outside to practice the top tips I had just learnt. We had some fun playing with different positions, poses and facial expressions but overall I think a smile works best 😁

This was the most recent image I created. Having getting some inspiration from a couple of Instagram accounts I decided to create something calm and natural whilst using unnatural components like the dinosaur skull and the enormous moon! I really enjoy creating images like these so if anyone knows accounts with similar creations please let me know! 🤓

This image was inspired by a similar image with an island made from a human skull. After creating the previous dinosaur image I wanted to try and create a dinosaur skull island. I really enjoyed creating the underwater part of the image and gathering images of sea life. To finish the image off I added a lens flare because why not! 🏝

This was an image created inspired by my recent viewing of Jurassic world. This was the first image I created without following instruction and really enjoyed gathering images and experimenting with different blending, positioning and brushes 🦖

The sun setting over the Wirral. When I would go down to the docks to watch the sunset I would always be intrigued by the tall building across the Mersey, I recently discovered it is the Birkenhead ventilation tower for Queensway tunnel... not as exciting as I thought it might be but interesting all the same! Ps I found the Queensway tunnel absolutely terrifying!

This was a shot taken from a family holiday in Majorca in 2017. The sun setting over the mountains was lovely and peaceful to watch, as the sun went to sleep the town awoke. How I wish to watching the sun setting on holiday now! 🏖

Dolphins have always been my favourite animal and when we go to Scotland we always visit my favourite place. This photo was taken at Spey Bay, the Scottish Dolphin Centre. The centre is at the mouth of the River Spey and attracts wildlife including bottlenose dolphins, seals, ospreys, otters and coastal birds. Every time we go we’re on the look out for dolphins and seals regularly mistaking waves and driftwood for dolphins! 🐬
