Although my shots weren’t the greatest today, I was very proud to be there, to see Ozzy’s one last visit to the city he called home, I was there at Villa Park earlier this month, and I thought this was it. The final gathering, but today the streets of Birmingham were littered with nothing but love, support & compassion, not only metalheads, but the whole world was there to pay respects.

What a day, I’ve seen turnouts, but I’ve never seen a turnout like this, one day I hope this is how Birmingham will look for brighter circumstances, maybe when Villa bring a trophy home for Oz and the lads🖤.

If any soul was going to get me out of my photography hiatus it had to be Ozzy.

Growing up as a metalhead and a photographer in Birmingham of all places, I’m really surprised that these worlds didn’t cross before now, alas they have, unfortunately not in the greatest of circumstances but such is life, I have more shots that I’ll release over the upcoming weeks !

It was truly amazing to see the amount of love and dedication shown to paying respects to Ozzy and his family, such a massive loss to our community, and the world as a whole. Rest easy, GBNF 🖤💜

The human body is an ever-evolving creation, always changing as we get older, always changing as we try new things as humans. Things like smartphone pinky are clear examples of modern evolution.

Another part of the human body that evolves is the mind, learning to love and understand yourself is hard, especially for people like me who have always struggled mentally, alas, sometimes you look in the mirror and realise that the temple that is your body, can be altered, can be changed, and can be rebuilt to its former glory, and when you realise that, build, push, fight, and obtain what you desire.
