Jenna Arnot is a highly visual individual with a passion for many forms of artistic expression and communication. Her most successful pieces have been inspired by nature and landscapes, but she has created a wide range of works within many artistic genres and styles. Her competing passion for both Art and Photography has directed her towards producing artworks from a wide range of disciplines, rather than one artistic category. Her BA Photography course gave her the space and freedom to experiment, graduating with a first, she now knows that she wants to make a career in interdisciplinary practices, engaging in the hybrid nature of art and exhibiting and sharing her work with audiences around the world.

“Other Earth” looks beyond reality, and urges its viewer to disconnect from the panic of contemporary times. It’s interactive elements make its viewer a vital part of the artworks, while providing an escape into imaginative dreamworlds. Using a variety of manipulation techniques and surrealism as inspiration, these artworks engage in the hybrid nature of art and disrupt the gaze by physically intervening upon the photograph.

Paulina Blumberg (.photography)

Paulina Blumberg is a landscape and experimental photographer who specialises in the film practice. Paulina enjoys investigating different ways of manipulating film and pushing the boundaries. Her methods explore using materials such as bleach and fire to create unique results.

The project 'In The Deep End' explores the damages which our landscapes are currently facing. As a landscape photographer it's important for me to bring awareness to this whilst preserving the landscapes within my photography. The images have been put through a series of damaging effects to mirror their harsh reality from the effects of climate change.

Emily Jacob ()

Emily Jacob is a photographer and Videographer specialising in portraiture and moving image. Experimenting with various artistic and technical methods, she mainly explore the relationship between different arts and photography and moving image. She collaborates with media and acting students, composers, and costume designers etc to create visual art.

I have explored the use of dance and movement to express the concept/storyline surrounding the Nightingale bird. The ballet dancer is portraying the Nightingale bird, a bird that symbolises love, creativity and is a voice of nature but is also the name of the Covid-19 hospital built in 2020. So, my choreographer/ballet dancer and I created a moving image piece and photos inspired by the journey of this year using the Nightingale bird as a symbol. An original piece with implied themes from this experience we have all dealt with over the past year. I worked with composers, musicians, costume designers, dancers, and media students.
