Long overdue update!
ABS has some wonderful properties, such as higher strength/stiffness and like in this video, solubility in acetone. This makes the filament popular for advanced prop makers. (ASA also has similar properties.)

I will make use of ABS's solubility later on in the crafting process as well so stay tuned!

Also don't worry I'm looking at getting some gloves when I next glue parts, as any super glue, epoxy or slurry etc. is an irritant.

It's no secret that I love Goldship, but! Oguri cap was my first fav with Orfevre also challenging for the top spot! Both are in the works and I am looking forward to doing them soon!

Got loads of loose hair that you don't want to throw away? Making these glueless wefts is so convenient and makes hair storage a lot more straightforward. AND NO GLUE FUMES!

This bag sealer was from AliExpress and was less than £20. I think I'll use this method from now on as making glued wefts is such a pain and time-consuming.

I may be pedantic but getting the base shape right makes such a difference for the final hair shape.
I also highly recommend watching many wig makers videos to absorb as many tips as possible and also work out what style you want to aim for.

I went to AnimeCon UK recently and this is my experience!

I have been going to Animecons since they first started so I really got to see how they grew over the past few years. And I must say they are going in the right direction! It may have been a small con but it was packed with many things that I was missing in other events.
I genuinely can't wait for the con to expand and become a permanent feature in my convention calendar.

I was a creator for Animecon however this is all my own independent opinion.

It's finally here!

Here's a little run through of how straight forward it is to use the new ponytail attachment for my wig system. Simply glue on the hair and BAM the shape does all the hard work for you 🥰

The physical kit is available in many colours, but if you can't find any colour that is quite right, you can paint it to match easily with basic acrylics.

This new shape works with the existing plug so any helmet wigs already made will be compatible (as will any future designs with this system)

Long awaited wig progress!
Here's the technique that I've been using to do hairlines and partings on my Alice wig.
I wanted a more natural style that was still secure and stylable and I think this is the perfect compromise!
