Below is a short review for Saal Digital UK

Hi everyone, as some of you probably know, I've just started working after finally finishing my University degree. It's been a busy couple of months settling into the job, so I haven't had much time to spend on photography or social media (at least not as much as I used to while at Uni...).
Instead of sitting down and watching TV after work, I've been working through my Lightroom catalogue and turning my old and forgotten images into something usable!
I don't often get the chance to print my images out usually, but absolutely love to whenever the opportunity arrises! Thankfully, Saal Digital were able to provide such an opportunity for one of my favourite photos taken over the Summer in the beautiful Cinque Terre!

From start to finish, Saal Digital have been a pleasure to work with - everything from their customer service to the delivery of my order has been fantastic (and of course the quality of the acrylic print itself is fantastic).

I chose to create an acrylic print to experiment with a boundary-less image, so of course the most logical option was to choose something with a bit of sea and a bit of sky! In person, it has turned out beautifully and the quality of construction of the product is truly top-notch - the image has truly been brought to life.

You can download Saal Digital UK software directly from their website, allowing for the production of your perfect photographic product in minutes. Not only can you produce a variety of prints, but also fantastic photo books with various options, sizes, templates, finishing touches etc.

Overall, I am a very happy customer and will certainly be using Saal Digital UK again in the future.

University has been an incredible experience in every possible respect, but I cannot wait to get started on the next chapter 🙌

So, having posted some fairly average photos of a fantastic karting event with the BUKC, I somehow managed to achieve a post engagement of just under 30,000...which is crazy and slightly regrettable having not put enough effort into those photos xD

Thought I'd make up for it by posting some lovely blossom from days gone by - Oozells square, Birmingham. Check it out while there's still blossom there!

Couldn't help but pitch in on the latest internet-meltdown photo - quite an interesting one this time though.

Essentially, the strawberries look red, but the image contains no dominant red pixels, i.e. you aren't looking at any red colour.
It can be produced by taking the 'Red' from the RGB colour data and replacing it with 50% Uniform (i.e. grey), which basically results in the white balance shifting to this weird cyan sort of colour.
So all the 'red' bits are actually a blue-ish, green-ish grey...but our eyes still interpret it as red, so who actually cares... 😂

First heard about these when Tim Cornbill posted an image of a cracking one above the cube last year - I've been wondering about them ever since and finally managed to catch one!

An absolutely incredible thing to see in person, so there was no way I was going to slap an edit on this.
It was also there and gone in seconds, so nothing but a lovely sky photo sadly... 😂
The calm after Doris, I guess you could say?

Decided to go down the realism route with this photo of the Library of Birmingham - I couldn't quite get the composition that I wanted (I don't have a lens wide enough!), but I'm happy with the result nonetheless!
Perhaps could've done with mother nature giving me a slight bit more cloud though to make the sky more appealing...

Fantastic afternoon shooting the Barber Barber UK team yesterday, with Tunafish Media LTD - as you can probably tell, they're a pretty sick group of people...and my god can they give a good haircut! Finally sorted my mess of a mop.

If you're about in Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds or London, pay them a visit - the shop front alone is worth seeing (y)

Had a quick 5 minute photoshoot with a very cooperative model yesterday. Didn't get the shot perfect, but it's close enough to be happy for a first attempt!
