❤️ UPDATE! Clients please read ❤️

Crikey, the world has changed a fair bit in the past few weeks hasn't it! I hope you're all hanging in there and staying safe and well. I know there are a fair few of my past clients who are key workers so I wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you do ❤️❤️❤️

Here are some dogs at weddings to make you all smile!

*IMPORTANT*

As I announced previously, I have now ended my time as a photographer to move on to other things, and am in the process of closing down various bits and pieces. On the 31st March, ALL SLIDESHOWS WILL GO OFFLINE. If you had a sideshow video from me, please don't panic - it will be on your USB that I sent. I just wanted to remind everyone to go and get the USB, pop it in the computer and back everything up! All your photos and slideshows will work as normal on any device you put them on, and can be shared as you would any other file. The only change will be that you won't be able to watch them online.

I will update again when I know what date online galleries will be closed down, but again this will only affect online access and not your photos themselves - please just make sure you are checking they're safe and backed up, including plugging in that USB and ensuring the files are all OK.

Any questions or problems, please let me know - my email address is still in service for now but it would be great if any issues can be raised sooner rather than later 😊

🎤 ANNOUNCEMENT!

Some of you will have noticed that my social media has been pretty quiet for a while now... well I’m finally ready to officially announce that that’s because about 18 months ago I decided that 2019 was to be my final year of shooting weddings. I’ve had the most wonderful 9-or-so years of running my photography business but as with so many things in life, it’s time to move on to something else.

I will soon be closing down my website and other official channels but I’ll keep my socials open for now in case any existing clients need to get in touch (just bear with me while I reply as I won’t be checking daily!). In the meantime as I haven’t been sharing for such a long time, I wanted to share some of the wonderful clients I’ve worked for in the time I’ve been quiet :)

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU - CLIENTS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
So of course there will be a few loose ends to tie up. PLEASE make sure you have backed up your photos. That means at the very least making sure your photos (and slideshows for those who had them) are on the cloud and/or a physical hard drive which gets backed up periodically. Digital files are delicate things and need to be looked after, so please take a moment and make sure everything is looking as it should be. If you had a slideshow you will have a video file of it on your USB and you can save this wherever you like to watch it - on your phone, computer etc. Your link will soon stop working but your file will continue to work. Online galleries that are still live will soon expire so again, please just make sure you and your friends and family have the files you need and have ordered any prints or albums you would like. If you’re still to send your album choices back to me, please do so as soon as you can do I can get them ordered for you.

Finally I would like to thank each and every client over the past several years for allowing me to capture all your precious moments - I’ve been truly lucky to do what I love for so long! Although it’s time to move on, I’ll always be happy that I was able to do this for a living and I’ve loved every second 😊❤️

Happy bonfire night everyone! I’m feeling the love for all things whizzy, bangy and sparkly today 💥🎇❤️

Last week I was lucky enough to be shooting Hannah and Scott's stunning wedding over at the newly-refurbed Hornton Grange University Of Birmingham - they have done an absolutely smashing job, can't wait to go back! Hannah looked absolutely beautiful and the day was full of smiles. Here are a few highlights of a really fab day.

Never mind *that* Royal wedding! Time for another blog post! This time back at The Kedleston Country House: Hotel, Restaurant & Bar back in May for Alex and Adam's Royal wedding. This was such a fun one, and definitely better than Harry and Meghan's!

Alex and Adam got married back in May, on the day of the big royal wedding - they're never going to forget their wedding anniversary! They opted to have a super laid back, fun wedding at The Kedleston in Derby. It's a venue I know well and I'm always really impressed with how people put their own st...

Ooh I've been blogging! It's been a busy old summer so I've not been doing much social media etc but I'm finally beginning to find a little bit of time to write a few words about some of the wonderful weddings I've been lucky enough to shoot this year. Here's Laura and Alex's wedding at Upton Barn & Walled Garden to inject a bit of sunshine into your day!

These two utterly gorgeous people will be tying the knot at the end of August, so I thought I would share their super cute engagement session at their venue, The Kedleston Country House: Hotel, Restaurant & Bar - remember when the grass was actually green?? We had such a lovely chilled out and fun session, it's clear that these guys can make each other smile from ear to ear. Can't wait to see you both again for the big day!

Phew, it's been a scorcher this week hasn't it! Yesterday I was out shooting a garden wedding in 29 degree heat and managed not to melt, so I thought what better time to share a few highlights from this absolute belter of a wedding? Last month I was lucky enough to pop over to sunny Italy and shoot Becky and James' stunning wedding at Hotel San Rocco, Lake Orta, and it was an absolute stunner! I'll be blogging and sharing some more images soon as well as a few tips if you're planning a destination wedding, but in the meantime here are some highlights of an absolutely magical day.

Yessss I'm so excited to be heading back to The Kedleston Country House (it feels like my second home at this point, which is fine by me!) to shoot these guys on their wedding day today. We shot their pre wedding photos not so long ago amidst the 'spring' weather we've been having, but it didn't dampen spirits at all. In fact they brought their A game when it came to their outfits so I can't wait to see how stylish their big day is. Oh and Angus the dog was on hand to provide even more awesomeness :)

I always love heading over to the Kedleston, it's such a great venue. I love the stylish and informal decor and the gorgeous surroundings, such a beautiful little place. Claire and Rich chose to have an informal and relaxed wedding with their friends and family to celebrate with them. The star of the show was definitely their dog Belle though! Here are a few highlights of their gorgeous day.

So wedding season is in full swing already for me! Back before all the snow (hard to remember eh?) I had the pleasure of shooting Lauren and Ashley's wedding at the beautiful Pendrell Hall. It was such a lovely day, full of smiles and warmth and with a little bit of Harry Potter thrown in. Here are a few highlights!
