There are difficult and lonely times ahead, but it’s important to remember that we are not alone. This online photographic community, which champions the best of our regions, exists because of each of you. Every inch of this country shines because of you. Whilst WMPC will be postponing all of our forthcoming photomeets, we want everyone to stay together online whilst we can’t be together in person. And so we have a plan…
We know how important photography is to people, whether that be as a source of income or as a source of escape, and how isolation can have a detrimental effect upon each of us. We want everyone to come together - whether you post pictures on social media or you just come here to look at them, know that you’re a part of this community and that we’re all in this together. We’re inviting everyone to use the hashtag , to share pictures, stories and to interact with one another. We intend to host some interactive get togethers, post videos and host challenges to keep you occupied. More than that, and for now, please share your pictures, whatever at all you’d like to post, on the tag and follow others who do. Comment, like, share – remind each other that we’re here and that we’ll be here still when this trouble has passed.
