Red Snapper Photography As a trained graphic designer and self taught photographer I take a great pride in my work and aim to produce pieces of a consistently high standard.

Quality prints, mounted and framed as finished artworks; canvases; photo books; photo sessions - consultation, shoot inside/outside, photo review following shoot and large choice of prints and frames. A couple of weeks ago I had a really lovely last minute shoot. Clare Stanley was hosting a menopause and wellness evening at Ribby Hall. There were speakers, stalls promoting and selling a variety of wellness products, a great audience and a bar!
I'd gone to shoot but I have to admit I was really interested in all the information and experiences being shared.

Last week I had the most fun photoshoot I’ve had in a long time, with the most fabulous lady, accompanied by my lovely DIL, who had recommended me and was also doing content creation for Clare at the same time (whatever that is 😂)

Clare wanted some shots for her work and business, so some professional shots and some casual, fun ones. We were so lucky with the weather, which was mild and sunny, and the two dogs were an absolute bonus - I did sneak a few cheeky shots of them on their own 😂

And of course, if your subject is a delight to capture, and there are autumn leaves, and ivy growing up the trunks of trees, then it’s a photographer’s dream ❤️

As many of you know, I’ve not done much photography this year due to illness in the family, and my time and attention being on that. I also felt I’d lost my mojo a little bit,

However, I was recently asked to do a promotional shoot for a lovely lady who I’d only met once. I decided I’d like to do it, so dusted off my cameras and went to meet her.

I was so glad I’d said yes, as it was the most lovely afternoon with the personable and friendly Alisa. She was the perfect model.

With her permission, I’d like to share a few of the images. They are being used to promote her business, Guardian Safeguarding.

'I don't do weddings.'

I've never wanted the responsibility. However, when my lovely niece asked me to shoot hers, I couldn't say no. I'd done her brother's, and although it had to be limited numbers due to lockdown, I'd absolutely loved it. The fact that the croquembouche wedding cake had an album to itself is an indication of my lack of restraint when snapping away, and also when editing and culling, so I knew I'd need spare batteries and memory cards........

Below are just a few of the 1,300 images I transferred to Ruby last week....... Apparently, she and Andris are still ploughing through them 🤣

Apologies for so many dance pics but, as I said to the father of the bride, it was as if you'd given a load of 30 somethings free drinks all day then thrown them into a room with wild music to see what happens....
Oh wait....... 🥹

Anyway, it was a great day, and I absolutely loved it ❤

PS I still don't do weddings but I did do another small one for a lovely friend just recently - pics to be revealed in a few days ❤
