Tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, milk-drunk smiles, and the way they fit so perfectly in your arms!

The newborn stage is one of the shortest chapters of parenthood and yet it’s often the one that passes by in the biggest blur 🥺

Looking back through some of my favourite newborn images has reminded me why I love these sessions so much! My sessions aren’t about perfect poses or perfection, they’re about preserving the little details and connections that change far too quickly!

Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, these are the moments you’ll never regret capturing ✨

If you’re expecting or have recently welcomed your little one, I’d love to help you document this special season of life in a relaxed and natural way. I do recommend booking in for your session when you’re pregnant as my weekends are filling up fast! The best time for newborn sessions are when baby is 5-14 days postpartum!

The end of a breastfeeding journey is something that often arrives quietly. One day it’s the last feed, and you don’t always realise it until it’s already happened.

After recently weaning my own little girl, I’ve been reflecting on just how special those moments were. Looking back at the photos of our very first feed in hospital and all those walks with a little human attached to my b**b reminds me that these chapters deserve to be remembered too.

As I’m getting ready to return to work on Monday, if I’m honest, it is such a bittersweet feeling 🤍

I genuinely don’t know where the time has gone, the days have been long but the months have been short. It feels like yesterday I was preparing for her arrival, and now here we are, closing this chapter of our lives 🥺

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to spend this time watching my first born become the best big brother, and my fiancé become a daddy all over again. From baby cuddles and contact naps to park trips, breastfeeding, managing emotions, and all the little moments in between. Having this time with Oceane and Theo has been something I’ll always be grateful for. There is a part of me that’s not quite ready to let go of these days being just ours 🫶🏻

Motherhood has given me an even deeper appreciation for how quickly time passes and why photographs matter so much! This weekend, I’ll be soaking up every cuddle, every laugh, and every little moment before a new chapter begins!

To all the parents navigating these milestones, you’re doing an amazing job. And to my little Theo and Oceane, thank you for choosing me to be your mummy, truly blessed ✨
