Getting THAT Phone Call!

Making final memories on your final walk

If you need me to photograph it, I will always be there.

I got a phone call a few weeks ago for a memory session — what I call an emergency phone call, to schedule a shoot in at a moment’s notice. And, of course, we found the time.

It’s always bittersweet and an emotional rollercoaster, but it’s always an honour to capture these moments. It’s such a beautiful way to spend some time cuddling and snuggling, with lots of treats along the way.

They’re never easy, but they’re always worth it.

No they are not perfectly posed or entirely in focus but these are my little ones great grandparents. The people we treasure most; who treasure her the most!

These are some candid moments of their visit to see her last week and yes we did have a proper little photoshoot. I don’t often get asked to have grandparents in my family sessions but just ask yourself when they are gone would you miss these photos?

September Mini Photo Sessions

19th September | Badbury Rings, Dorset

I’m offering a limited number of family mini photo sessions in the beautiful woodland at Badbury Rings this September.

Each 40-minute session is relaxed and natural, with my Family Guide included. You’ll be prompted and guided throughout, so there’s no need to worry about posing or knowing what to do in front of the camera.

£90 per session

Sessions available from 10am onwards.

Last month I was asked to photograph this beautiful family as they had a little mini holiday all together on the New Forest!

We had a beautiful sunset and wandered around the grounds before a nice cool drink to finish off! Firstly such a photogenic family it was so easy to capture you all happily together. I think when you can laugh and smile with each other photos come easy!

Sometimes I have absolutely no clue what to write about my images!

I have endless images, endless moments, endless little pieces of stories… and yet sometimes (quite often actually) I sit down to write about them and nothing comes.

But maybe that’s exactly why I became a photographer.
Because some moments don’t need words.

Some moments are a feeling. A look. A touch. A laugh you didn’t want to forget.

I create images for the moments you don’t have words for.
