This little one was jumping around the grass and I had to be very quick to photograph it: a meadow grasshopper.

Fun fact: This is the only flightless grasshopper in the UK and can jump up to 20 times its body length at 3 metres per second. The human equivalent would be jumping over a 5 story building.

One of the more vocal alpacas that visited Brockholes recently, where people could walk with them and/or feed them. This one kept on making little noises, which I thought was cute.

Thanks for looking and liking. Enjoy today's shot.

Which location is a MUST to photograph the heather? Please share the best locations in or near Lancashire, so I can plan a shoot this week. Many thanks 😊
