Callywith Community Bus Initiative ๐ŸšŒ

We are delighted to launch a new community initiative in partnership with Stagecoach providing schools and community groups across Cornwall with access to a coach for educational trips.

From Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2026, one coach will be available each day between 9:00am and 4:00pm for use by schools and community groups within the PL postcode area.

This initiative aims to support learning beyond the classroom by removing transport barriers and ensuring that cost does not prevent groups from taking part in valuable and enriching educational experiences.

Cornwall offers a wide range of inspiring educational destinations, including:

๐ŸŒŠ Cornwallโ€™s coastline and beaches, providing opportunities to explore nature and the environment.
โš“ Historic towns, harbours and villages, offering insight into Cornwallโ€™s rich history and culture.
๐ŸŒฟ Public parks, gardens and open spaces, ideal for outdoor learning and activities.
๐ŸŽจ Art galleries, cultural centres and heritage sites, supporting creative and cultural education.
๐Ÿฅพ Countryside areas and walking trails, perfect for geography, observation and wellbeing experiences.

โ€ฆand many more.

Trips must take place within Cornwall and West Devon, with the eastern boundary defined by the line Plymouth โ€“ Tavistock โ€“ Okehampton โ€“ Barnstaple. All destinations must fall west of this line.

Please ensure a coach can safely reach the pickup location and the destination you choose, this will also be subject to Stagecoach undertaking their own risk assessment.

How to Apply

๐Ÿ‘‰If youโ€™d like to apply for this opportunity, please complete the online form here. (One application per organisation) - https://shorturl.at/nlZX7

Closing date for all applications is Thursday 30th April.
