Please remember. Photography is more about the light, the vision, and the story, rather than the device used. Yes you can can a better image using a newer phone, but only if at the same time you have the available light and the vision to see what it is you are looking to capture.

Phones, DSLRs, mirrorless, old kit, new kit… they’re all just tools. A newer phone gives you convenience, better low-light tolerance, and computational tricks. It does not give you vision. Plenty of people with the latest phones still make s**t pictures (myself included sometimes, lol).

Study the light - where it’s coming from and how strong is it?
What are the surroundings – what’s in the frame and what needs to be left out. Can we move around for a better shot?
