Can you tell I’m loving veils? Bit of movement, bit of drama, catching the light just right when it’s blowing about in the breeze.

First time shooting at this venue and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous light, plenty of spots to sneak off to, and fab owners who make everyone feel at home. I can feel like a chateau is my new home, no problem. Born for it 👸

Such a sweet couple who just wanted to enjoy the day, not spend ages posing about feeling like it wasn’t them. No stiff portraits, no forced anything, just them having a nice time and me watching and capturing it all just how they want.

I always listen and respect each couple and follow their lead. Your day, I’m just there to capture it for you.

Lots of couples say they want a relaxed, informal wedding, but then on the day, tradition often takes over and couples can feel pressure to conform. This couple were really clear they didn’t want that, and I loved having the freedom to just watch and document their day as it unfolded. Not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera and listening to couples and how they feel is a priority to me.

Knowing when to step in and when to step back comes from years of experience, and I was thrilled they loved their photos and got to properly enjoy their day and be in the moment. Golden hour was simply walking their gorgeous new puppy, just a few family group photos and then on to a packed dance floor. A very special day for everyone.

Who is she! Bloody fab, that’s who. And an absolute joy to work with on a full on 🔥 hot day too.

This couple had their day totally planned out, soaked up every minute of it, and still made time for some sizzling photos. Doesn’t have to take ages, and I hope Aine Mannion will back me up that it can actually be a laugh too!

Buzzing to be finishing off their final gallery now. I can feel her excitement all the way from Dubai 🤣 not long now, and it’s sooooo worth the wait.

Love a b&w shot 🖤

Spent hours and hours in the darkroom when I was training — was known for being good with my hands in a dark room 😉 It was genuinely magical watching the images appear. I loved it all and still do.

I’ve always loved photos, from being little — I find them mesmerising. Bit morbid, but when you look at old pics, you realise that in that split second, the person being photographed had no idea that decades later that image would be on a wall or in a frame or on a wanted poster. 🤣Photos are one of the only things in life that become more valuable with time.

So lucky that my passion turned into my profession. I read a book once about a photographer called The Memory Keeper, and it stayed with me, because that’s genuinely what I do. I never take it for granted. I will always do my absolute best to keep those memories for you.

I needed a nanna nap. In fact, I needed a full nanna day to get over this one. Wedding day hangover isn’t usually a thing for me, but I slept on the sofa the whole afternoon after this shoot. Closed my eyes for ´ten minutes’ and woke up four hours later 🤣

38 degrees, a zillion bridesmaids and groomsmen, and every single one of them bonkers. Fortunately I love bonkers and fit right in. I think I out bonkered them.

We hyped the whole bridal party up for photos that actually capture the fun. Can’t wait to see what THE Wedding Content Creator and Film South West France got. Always proud to be chosen, and proud to hand over a gallery that reflects the couple and their day in all its crazy glory. How stunning do they all look 🔥

Be more like Fiona ❤️

She planned their day with spreadsheets, color coded timings, detailed lists, the works. It terrified me if I am honest lol.

I genuinely thought she’d be a bride precious about the dress, careful with her hair, checking the clock and mirror all day but no, I was SO wrong.

She spent the whole day running, twirling, laughing, having the best time and making the most of every corner of the château.

We’re still recovering. Not from the 39 degree heat, although that didn’t help, but from how much they just loved every bit of their day and pulled us all into it with them. Non stop smiles laughter and omg what they doing now 🤣

Turns out her idea of perfect wasn’t a perfect schedule. It was just having the best day of their life. Unperfect perfection - I bloody loved it.

One of my favourite things about this job? Watching family and friends from opposite sides of the world turn up and share such a special day together.

It’s always amazed me that we are all so similar but also very different. Each wedding has its own vibe, its own personality. Everyone thinks they’re the normal one (some of us have accepted we’re just a bit off).

This group flew in from America and were absolutely gobsmacked by the French history and the countryside around this venue. I don’t blame, them it’s stunning.

I try never to take this for granted. Getting to live and work somewhere this beautiful is just the best. ❤️

Love days like this. Starts out with the glam and ends messy on the dance floor. Perfect kind of wedding if you ask me.

I mean, is it actually Marilyn Monroe or is it the divine jenzyjen88 marrying the adorable Sean?

A day to remember, with guests flying in from Australia and Ireland to blend two families and friends into one big brilliant party.

The day started with a storm and ended with golden hour. Couldn’t have written it better myself ❤️.
