Why I love documentary photography

This is what happens when you ditch the "stand here, look there, now smile" approach and just let magic unfold naturally. Four friends, one shared moment of pure joy, zero direction from me.

This is exactly why I fell head over heels for documentary wedding photography - it's about capturing the authentic connections and spontaneous laughter that make your day uniquely yours.

While everyone else is busy arranging the perfect lineup, I'm over here documenting the real moments. The belly laughs. The genuine reactions. The way your best mates naturally gravitate toward each other when they're having the time of their lives.

This shot? Completely unscripted. Just me, my camera, and the beautiful chaos of friendship in its natural habitat. No forced poses, no awkward "hold that smile for 30 seconds" - just pure, unfiltered happiness that tells the real story of your day.
