Where it all began

These two beautiful humans have a love story that could genuinely be straight out of a Hollywood movie.

It’s going to take me a little while to write it all down, because I want to do their story justice, but I’ll definitely be sharing it with you later this week along with some more from their day.

For now, I just had to share this shot.

This image, or one very similar, is actually what first drew Kelly ( )& John to my work when we met at Castlefield’s Open Day, and they were looking through my portfolio. We just knew we had to recreate it on their wedding day.

The wedding morning

Those final hours before you see each other at the end of the aisle. The anticipation, the nerves, the little moments in between.
Rachael & Sean, I loved being a part of your day, it's such an honour getting to not only witness but also to capture these moments for you. I loved how, as I went back and forth between you both before the ceremony, you both asked after each other, anticipating that nerves would be high and not wanting the other to be too stressed.

From high school sweethearts to husband and wife.

A love story years in the making, with Enzo, their impossibly handsome cockapoo and very important ring bearer by their side.

There's something so special about getting ready with your girls.

The laughs, the nerves and then the moment they see their best friend ready to walk down the aisle. For Eleni and her girls, this was enough to bring the tears, which resulted in everyone tipping their heads back, trying desperately to save their make-up!!🤍

A moment for the two of them, as these portraits deserved their own spotlight 🤍

The rain meant the grounds were off limits, but perhaps that was the point. Nowhere to go, nothing to do but stay close. I love how intimate it made everything feel. Just the two of them, completely wrapped up in each other.

There are some wedding days that just have everything, and this was absolutely one of them.

The most gorgeous, fun and completely magnetic couple, an incredible crowd, glorious weather and quite possibly the largest group of people ever assembled for a Baby Guinness shot!

Every detail had been so thoughtfully considered, from the styling and little touches throughout the day to all the moments that kept the energy flowing. You could feel just how much thought had gone into the planning, nothing felt overlooked, and it all came together so effortlessly. There were also a few little surprises along the way… including a rather cheeky Polaroid mission being quietly carried out by the bridesmaids throughout the day.

Beeston Manor provided the perfect backdrop for a day that was stylish, lively and completely full of energy. The kind of wedding where the atmosphere just builds and builds, and you find yourself wanting to photograph every second of it.

And there is SO much more to come from this day… including the craziest singing waiter session I have ever witnessed, and Ciarra’s second-look evening dress, an absolutely divine change of look that I am completely obsessed with.

20 Years

20 years ago today, I married the love of my life.

In a tiny church on a hill at the side of Ullswater in the Lake District, we said our I Dos.

Today, 20 years on we watched the sunrise from Delray Beach, with our children. Our ever so talented (and patient!!) middle child was our photographer.

So grateful for the life we've built and the adventures we get to share together. I can't wait to see where the next 20 take us. 💙🤍
