Bolton Asian Migration We aim to collect images and articles from 1960's-80's Bolton when the Asian community first settled in the Town.

We would like to capture old photographs, images, newspaper articles and documents from members of the Asian community when they first came to live in Bolton. We would like you to share your leisure, social and recreational activities between 1960's and 1980's. These may be used for archives and heritage purposes to benefit future generations.

Asian Cricketers at Presentation Evening. With Sir Clive Lloyd.
At the time the Bolton and District Cricket Association lower divisions was dominated by Asian sides.
Unfortunately it was a type of blatant Apartheid system which meant Asian sides began to form their own leagues and competitions.
